Honors:
For students who have identified the SPP as their primary college, official Latin Honors designation for students who graduated Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Winter 2025, are based on the overall degree grade point average (GPA) cutoffs listed below.
Highest Honors (Summa Cum Laude)

These cutoffs will also be used as the unofficial cutoffs for the Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 graduates. The official determination of Latin Honors (for transcript and diploma purposes) will be based upon the calculated grade point averages of the actual Spring 2025 graduates and the new official GPA cutoffs will be posted at the end of Summer 2025.

Degree Conferral and Transcripts:
Degree conferral is finalized about 6-8 weeks after final grades are officially released.
If you have completed all degree requirements but your degree has not yet been posted you may request a Letter of Degree Certification: A letter of degree certification states that the degree conferral is in progress and pending final approval from the Registrar’s Office. A letter will not be written unless your application has been approved by your academic advisor. A letter of certification that your degree conferral is in progress will not be issued if the degree has already been posted to the official UC Riverside transcript. If your degree has already been conferred, you may order a transcript from the Registrar’s Office.
